Hughes Global Education, subsidiary of Hughes and Appin entered into a private partnership to launch Work-ex program across India. With this partnership, it is expected to employ nearby to 2L Job seekers across the country. The emphasis is to create opportunity for job seekers by offering them paid internship with exposure to live projects and 1 yr experience letter at the end of program.
Work-Ex is career oriented program in IT; it is not just a training program but internship which develops job and technical skills in a candidate. It gives employment and opportunity to earn stipend from the Day 1. Under this program the trainees earn while they learn. On successful completion of the program the candidates get an experience certificate from Appin Security Group, as well as placement assistance and an opportunity to join Appin’s professional network on LinkedIn and Facebook.
Under this agreement, Hughes Global education via its channels in India will advocate work-Ex program making it possible for the program to outreach the job seekers.
India has an average of over 750,000 engineers pass outs every year but due to Global recession there is expected to be a shortage of jobs for fresher in current Market. With the lesser jobs only the skilled manpower will be placed first, “Survival of the Fittest” will be the scenario, except academic skills there will be a need to acquire job related skills and relevant experience will matter the most. Every year so many graduates passed out without relevant skills which make them job ready. Work-ex bridges this gap.

Appin Technology Labs and WISeKey Partner to Provide WISeID for 100,000 Students Across Training Labs in India and Other Countries
WISeKey has signed a strategic partnership with Appin Security Group to provide a special WISeID for 100,000 students across training labs in India and other countries. WISeID Students app is targeted to those enrolled in Appin courses offering professional training in information security and who plan to build a career in that arena. Appin Training Labs, the cyber intelligence and security training division, will offer WISeID Students to help students find potential employers from the WISeID community.
“We are very happy for Appin to join hands with WISeKey to help meet security industry employment requirements, which expect the need for security professionals to reach over 4 million by 2015,” said Rajat Khare, CEO Appin Security Group.
“WISeKey hopes this strategic partnership with Appin will train specialists with experience in cyber forensics, email interception testing, and mobile phone penetration testing, to help reverse the growing trend of data loss and cyber crime we’ve seen over the last five years,” said Carlos Moreira, Founder and CEO, WISeKey.
Over the last half decade, more than 63% of students who completed Appin training have found employment within three months. The WISeID Student app will be used by all students participating in Appin training so that students can provide authenticated services to potential employers world-wide using a WISeKey digital identity to offer secure reporting of possible security risks.
WISeKey plans to expand the app to include the incorporation of WISeID e Diploma, which provides digital signatures for the online verification of diplomas, certificates and other credentials, allowing trusted publication on social networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
